Aluminum premium Reached 100 $ in Japan


Aluminum premium reduced to 100 dollars per tons, which is the lowest price during 6 years, according to the news from Tokyo. It reached a record high in May of this year and which is higher than LME price.

An Asian merchant said that some transaction price is even lower than 100 dollars.But he reject the 90$ quotation, and there is no bargain .

Aluminum inventory in japan keeps increasing for a long time. The total inventories in the 3 major ports have reached 500 thousand tons. But other regions perform well and keeps price margin within 40$.
