1050 aluminum coil belongs to commercially pure wrought 1000 series alloy family with a purity of 99.5% Al. So, 1050 aluminum coil properties show excellent ductility, plasticity, corrosion resistance, and high electrical and thermal conductivity. In addition, 1050 aluminum alloy coil is also a non-heat treatment alloy with low strength, which cannot be strengthened by heat treatment and has weak machinability, but can accept contact welding and gas welding. 1. Excellent Processability. 1050 aluminum coil with excellent processability can perform turning, milling, boring, planing and other mechanical processing at the maximum speed that machine tools can reach, and the forming effect is very good.
2. Extremely High Conductivity and Heat Transfer. The conductivity of 1050 aluminum coil was as high as 62%IACS (20℃). Furthermore, the thermal conductivity is 231W/(m·℃) at 20 ℃.
3. Other Features. The tensile strength of 1050 aluminum coil is 90 (N/mm2), but it has excellent anodic oxidation effect and high reflectivity.
Generally, 1050 aluminum coil is commonly used in some conditions requiring high corrosion resistance and formability, but low strength.
